There’s a new video floating around the paladin forums made by Vis Maior’s Slayton. He’s a cool dude and probably one of the best ret paladins around. Check out his video, he explains seal twisting in PVP. Seal of Justice -> Seal of Command for Burst.

This movies main feature is my seal twisting, which I use in PvP. You will see a clip of it in the beginning vs a shaman healing, a little later after the fun wsg scenes I show you exactly how to do it.
Next is 3v3, I choose to show Ret/MS/RestoShaman 2050+ Bracket (earlier in the season)
Then 2v2, with Rogue/Ret 2100+ Bracket (a week ago) (no Warlock/Druid comp we faced that night was worth a damn or showed any sign of skill, so I decided to exclude them from the video)
Runtime; 23 Min.
Size; 538 Mbs
Codex; http://www.xvid.org/ <— You need Xvid to view this movie properly!!!
Music; Metal-Rock tones. The Disturbed song at the beginning is an exclusive song sent to the street team that will be on the new CD in a few months. In This Moment is a metal band with a girl singer, who is amazing, and was killer live when she opened for Rob Zombie and Ozzy, so in show of support I put a song in there at the end.
2v2 Spec = 5/11/45
3v3 Spec = 0/20/41
I hope you all enjoy

I checked this out briefly earlier, looks interesting. I’ll have to watch it the rest of the way through a couple times.
I’d like to see an actualy command “list” that is used. I also noticed what looks like small SoCom judgements, Rank 1 maybe? Does SoCom go right back up after the justice proc?

For me it seems like all you need to do is change from SOC to SOJ as soon as you see the animation and you get both a stun and command proc. Quickly switch back to SOC and do it agian.
If you are concerned about mana just use Rank 1 SOC. Only difference between rank 6 is the judge amount of damage.

I see.
Judgement damage usually is even less reliable if you running the 0/20/41 build since you lack the extra Judgement crit from Fanticism.
So the question is…do you ever judge except to drop the inital seal?

I judge SOJ on Shaman and Druids or anyone mounted to stop them from running.
Currently I judge because I’m using Rank 6 SOC, tonight I’m going to test some twisting in BGs.

Thanks Slayton, the vid rocks! (as do the rest of your vids)
I don’t know if I am going to try the twisting in arenas just yet, too busy spamming cleanses I guess.
Do you use a focus macro for your repents or is it all done manually.
Thanks again. Loving the Arena Matches, both 2v and 3v.
