After my movie that I released a bit ago it has become a hot topic. Many people have been watching that video front to back over and over to try to figure out how to do it. It is actually 10x simpler then what some of you are making it out to be.
You swap seals when your swing animation, of any sorts, happens. Even if it isn’t a seal of command proc you can swap seals and still have SoJ proc off your white attack with this method. Seal of Command MUST be your starting seal, from there you can swap seals to any of the other seals that are procs. However, the only ones that would serve a high benefit is Seal of Justice, and for those lucky souls, Seal of Blood.
Seal of Command has a 1 sec internal cool down, also the reason it wont proc off of windfury or reckoning twice. These mechanics where put in place because before you could swing with a white attack and then your seal of command could be out of range, so they put them closer together, and this was their method.
Exploiting or creative use of mechanics? No one knows except Blizzard, but this is a make-shift substitute for a spell interrupt that is long over due.
TL;DR:
1. put on seal of command
2. right as your swing animation happens (normal, socomm proc, or crit) swap seals to SoJ or SoB
3. Profit
Practice on mobs first, it helps if you are binding SoJ to a simple key bind. Also know that because of GCDs it will be very hard to juggle your seals with your Crusader Strike up, so prioritize carefully.

Comment was somehow deleted, for unknown reasons;
“I’ve been working on it. I think i saw something about it on arena
junkies which led me to Slayton3 and this site. My timing still kinda fails
but i’m getting there.
Great site btw, you get a /kiss next time i see you in shatt lol.”

I wanted to point out that with Seal of Blood the benefit of seal twisting is scary as it can do White Hit, SoC proc, SoB proc, SoB proc of course you follow with Crusader strike, JoB and Hammer. Timed at the right time with all your cooldown very few can survive this kind of burst damage.
I am sorry for alliance pally btw
May 6th, 2008 - 6:07 pm
several alliance have already felt my wrath :P. there was a shaman today that i crit with the whole twist, and then with crusader strike. it looked like it hurt
May 6th, 2008 - 9:33 pm
Thats pretty hardcore, right now I really wish I was a blood elf. :S SoJ is sick enough with the stun proc, I could only imagine the amount of devastation I could do with just a bit more damage, from seal of command/blood twisting.
May 7th, 2008 - 6:46 pm
Imagine the damage output with wf as a BE
May 8th, 2008 - 11:12 am
wait… so I just wait for weapon to hit, swap seals to blood and then what?
May 8th, 2008 - 11:40 am
“wait… so I just wait for weapon to hit, swap seals to blood and then what?”
Then watch your burst damage go crazy if you combo it with a socomm proc.
Swap back to seal of command before your next attack if your in pvp, or you can just leave blood on.
Personal preference on when to use this in your attack rotation, just know that putting on a seal can conflict with your crusader strike, so prioritize correctly for the situation.
May 8th, 2008 - 1:27 pm
So… SoB have a chance to do some damage… SoJ only stun our target right? without any damage? btw im using SoC and then first attack with Crusader strike…. is it better to use SoC than twist to SoJ and than use Crusader strike??
May 10th, 2008 - 12:29 pm
If your GCD’s allow it, have SoJ on your crusader strike, but make sure you can get SoComm back on for your white attack.
May 11th, 2008 - 3:40 pm
so basically with soC i just have to swap to soj when my swing animation begin = stun?
and from soC to soB ? is this usefull only on soC proc? cause otherwise i get only a normal soB proc..
btw i’m failing with timing i have to train a lot ,tks in advance

How do i get quartz to show how long it will take for my next swing, mine is giving me problems.
May 13th, 2008 - 4:22 am
The current version of quartz is doing that. Somewhere on the page of the main provider of that is the beta version. Use that, it works.
I have it, but was trying to find it for my wifes laptop but couldn’t find the damn beta version.
May 13th, 2008 - 8:29 am
I was just wondering… if u use seal of crusader to hit faster then try to proc soj, will it still proc or it will be under the limitation of ppm?
May 14th, 2008 - 2:58 pm
PPM is calculated right as you swing. You can test this by bubbling right before your white attack 80%+ of the time your socomm will proc because of your bubble.
So, I believe you can speed up your auto attack then switch to SoJ for the proc, but that doesn’t seem like an effective thing to do.
Here I don’t use quartz, this swing timer is better imo;

[…] to external sources, seal twisting works like this: 1. put on seal of command 2. right as your swing animation […]

I’m getting some crazy resusts from some seal twisting and I was wondering if I could get another BE pally to check this to. I’m twisting SoC with SoB and my combat log looks like this:
Melee Swing for ***
SoC for ***
SoC fades
SoB gained
SoB for ***
SoB for ***
I have no idea why, but SoB is def hitting twice sometimes. Can anyone else confirm this?

Flap, Im experiencing the same as you. Its fantastic! Double sob-hit/crit. Its hillarious. Havent really checked out how specific I have to be with resealing when hitting. Its nice as hell, anyways. Only thing is Im having problems timing this and crusaderstrike. Seems you get about one twist pr 3 hits .. more or less. Just a rough estimate atm tho with stormherald.
One happy belf here, at least
May 16th, 2008 - 9:07 am
I guess its nice (if not blatant obvious) that the magic wont happen without a soc-proc. If thats how it actually is. Also, you get hit by sob twice .. dont know if that could be a problem in some encounters. Oh, and your mana goes bye-bye kinda quick for pve unless you have jow up.
May 16th, 2008 - 7:32 pm
I believe the 2 SoB hits are do too once for the white hit and once for the SoC hit.
May 27th, 2008 - 12:13 pm
hi, just wanna say that i made a little test with sob and soc combination of seal twisting. As result i had made little movie( sry for bad editing) from 1 hour of testing in blasted lands. Gear was for 25 man raiding, weapon was stormherald bs mace. In movie i showed also whats dmg if wf procs. Little sidenote, i didnt concetrate on getting high dps it was my first try on seal twisting(so no often used cs or judgement). To make story short maybe my pc was screwed up, have low fps so i didint so 2 more hits + seal twist when wf procced. here is link:
http://www.vimeo.com/1006065?pg=embed&sec=1006065
p.s. yes it hurts when you get lucky and seal twist crits+cs+judgement(just need alot of practice as i found that later in bg and in raid)
May 27th, 2008 - 12:16 pm
About mana consumptions, it isnt so big problem, few advice in raid, organize with other palas to allways judge boss(light/wisdom), allways have highest mana pots and if possible shadow priest near ofc
sry for my bad english.
June 9th, 2008 - 1:55 pm
So from what I have read, Seal twisting is omgwtfpwn for horde, but meh for alliance, due to the fact that horde has SOJ and SOB, but alliance has just SOJ.
So for Boss fights, horde pallys get crazy dps while alliance gets meh. (yay ! lets soj a boss (immune) YAY !

BE > Ally pallies in raids kthx?!
June 23rd, 2008 - 6:26 am
Nice hits Faptamerica.

Can you tell did sct or some other combat text showed all dmg from seal twisting. I had problem, low fps and losy graphic card so my Parrot addon dont show all dmg but in Eaves drop addon i can see all dmg from seal twisting.
Btw, tried also some wild stuff like, specced into reckoning/retri, took shaman friend with me wich dropped WF and STR totem. Then i went into blasted lands to test if is posible to get around 8 hits in 1 swing(with wf + reckoning+seal twisting).
Result, i manage to hit around 16k in 1 swing BUT it didnt showed all in parrot addon, it was showned in eaves drop and in combat log, funny thing is i didnt manage to get all crits
P.s. this combination “wf+reckoning+seal twist” its VERY situationable cause ALOT of procs needed to be active in same time, it doesnt have any role in pve or pvp but its funny to see how paladin dps mechanism is litlebit broken

Yeah im glad to know people have also found out about this but i thought it was fixed.
I used the same method as you back in pre TBC here is my Myspace blog about it.
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=42466303&blogID=216333197
Hope you didn’t steal you work from me otherwise it would be best to put credit were credit is due.
And i called it God Procing not Seal Twisting

Thank you for deleting my post about how im the rightful founder of this exploit you guys call a “Mechanical Technique”
Here is a a freindly post of a bug report made by me on how it is going to be fixed:

Hi Gary,
In no way did I steal your “method” I have been doing this for way before your myspace was written, in fact, I stumbled upon it almost after we discovered the changes made to seal of command back around 1.9 which made it a bit more obvious on how to control the seal twist.
This was far before your post on myspace was made.
No one deleted your posts, the system has a fail safe to delete posts with multiple links due to keyloggers and spammers linking multiple things (as you can see them do on the wow forums)
If I wanted to delete your posts, I would delete these as well, but I have no reason to. You seem to think that you are this rightful “owner” of something that belongs to no one.
My friends and me discovered this very close to when we believe it was first possible, but in no doubt do I think others saw it as well, most probably have quit by now. You should never claim to discover anything especially when that myspace post was made over a year after the actual ability to seal twist was discovered.
TL;DR you where a year late discovering how to seal twist to be the father of it.

Hi Slayton,
Despite your contiunous arguments on here and WoW forums, all you have is your word. This page was writen May 3rd, Ive played WoW since It was released and have been a ret paladin ever since.
YOu have no basis to claim that it is your and i understand that i only have a page of to say i made it but lemme clear this up.
My God Procing and your Seal Twisting are different. Back in Pre-TBC there was a bug that allowed you to do 2 seal of commands back to back much like your seal twisting. As far as i know only me and a few others on my server knew of this. Later on though i found out that one of the people made a PvP video of it, and blizzard must of got word and fixed the bug. THe PvP has since been deleted… It was made by a paladin named Xearxes.
July 31st, 2008 - 5:14 pm
Hi Gary,
This was taken DIRECTLY from your myspace post. Directly shows you made god proc FAR after this game was out and FAR after the implementation of a 1 second cd to prevent double socomm procs on reckoning and windfury.
Again, you never where able to proc seal of command off itself, that is a ridiculous claim. It was an error in visual which you can recreate easily by just casting hammer of wrath at the end of your swing timer
My friends and me played with seal twisting a YEAR before the date you claim in your blog for “god proc” to have existed, along with many other paladins around the world who accidentally came across this glitch.
So stop making claims at my website, and at retpaladin.com and the paladin community for being “false” There is again, no reason for you to talk down to anyone in this community like you did in your post on the warcraft bug report forums, where you called paladins who seal twisted horrible players compared to you.

Hey, I’m just reading up on Seal Twisting. Great burst, but with the use of a lot of mana, would Seal Twisting be viable in raids?
September 5th, 2008 - 1:39 pm
No one cares who created it
September 10th, 2008 - 5:35 pm
I’ve been wondering… Can you seal twist with Seal of Command and Seal of Righteousness? Because If you can, it would be a nice benefit for Shockadins.
September 18th, 2008 - 11:47 am
Umm I don’t know if you guys have thought about this or not, but when I was leveling I used SoC rank 1 a lot because the proc mechanic is the exact same as max rank, just the judgement damage is different.
So rank 1 SoC is 55 MP and rank 1 SoB is 178 MP.
Max rank of SoC is 238
Rank 1 SoC and Rank 1 SoB is 233 MP so if you seal with Rank 1 SoC and Rank 1 SoB then judge with SoB or a max rank SoC you (depending on cycle) you can save a crap load of mana

Can anyone confirm that this works on beta/ptr? Have tried it but have yet to succeed. Have done it on live realms though.

Hello webmaster! I am thoroughly impressed with your knowledge of How to Seal Twist. Your insights into this article about How to Seal Twist was well worth the the time to read it. I thank you for posting such awesome information. I find it on Thursday and very happy reading this…
