Slayton blogs. Not to offend megaphone cause some posts are better then no posts, but its kinda like going to a batman website but only robin is around.
If you really want to make the website successful it’s not a bad idea to follow mings strategy. Make pvp movies (already doing a job on that), class vs class strats, thoughts on any class news (ret pallys in this case), then once your site is worth thousands you can start blogging about Hafu and your mail order brides for hits.

More in depth looks at dps cycles and more in depth spec’s would be appreciated.
I’m a horde pally, but I’m sure the ally’s would like to find ways to match or at least come close to belf dps, suggestions would be helpful.
It also seems people need to understand at what point to switch from armor pen, to haste..and the formulas involved

I appologize, that is my fault more then anyones. Lately I’ve been having some RL issues I have been trying to take care of, and cause of this some obligations I’ve made, including doing blogs here, are being pushed back for sure.
Part of the reason megaphone was brought on was because we tend to share the same views and he understands a good deal about how retribution is played, so he could help me make up for long overdue blogs.
I will be addressing these concerns however, and hopefully RL issues clear up this week to put me back on track with things like this.

Honestly, the site has been kicking ass so far, so I can’t really think of much else that I absolutely need to see. Some Megaphone/Slayton 2v2 would be something I’d enjoy. That, and Megaphone with no pants! xD

One big thing that stands out to me is the front page of the site. On the left you have a whole list of links and you’re not really sure what you’re clicking on and where it will take you.
Perhaps condensing it to a page of gear links, a page of pvp links, ect. instead of having every link on the page there.
As for the forums, some of the categories seem fairly over-categorised. They seem to have split the discussion up a fair bit. Sure you want topics to be easy to find but does pvp gems/enchants need to be separate to the pvp gear category. I’m usually not inclined to load a page just for 8 threads (a number that is unlikely to change much except for te initial release of Wrath).
Another suggestion is for the icons used, the horde/alliance icon for read/unread topic kind of seem unintuitive. It took me a couple visits to be sure what the icons even indicated (after which I noticed the guide at the bottom of the page, but still they don’t really seem to indicate that a thread has new posts in it).
Some other formatting suggestions, if I want to reply to a post I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of a page while I can just quote a poster anywhere in the thread. And for threads that have more than one page, the list of pages at the bottom/top of the thread could be a tad larger.
Finally, a ‘Return to top’ link under every post would be handy.

Also, hehe….I’ve come across different opinions on what gear has more “dps” on your site, maxpds.com etc. How do we know what item is better if different sites are saying different things?
Any clarification on the real determination would be great. Some say XYZ chest is better or worse than ABC chest. Its just a bit confusing. Maybe a different version for the two types of ret pallies, alliance and horde? Considering the horde looks more to Haste etc.?

All the rotation for and gear are set in stone for most ally /belf rets ppl should know by now how and what to do i would say.
Personally i’d like to see the future theocraft being built upon itself with the current beta build and which rotation would work best with our new arsenal of dps power.
Perhaps how a rotation would be done inculuding Auto-attack with seal- CS – DS – HOW – judgement – if consecration would be able to be squeezed in.
along with tests for SoC / SoM-SoB in these tests one test for each type. be good to get and idea with what kind of damage we would be doing in your gear slayton. Assuming Sunwell will be on par with walk in naxx gear.

Wanted to add currently continuous BC theocraft / gear matchups are a redumdant waste of time and effort which has been said and shown over this forums and all sites listed.
I hope to see Slayton back in business soon.

This site has helped me a lot over the past two weeks or being ret, but there is one thing that would help me a lot.
For the Best sections, I would love to see a sentence or two about why the item is recommended. There are many times when I get into conversations with other guild mates about why I think an item would be good for me (never happens during a run though so they are calm discussions). A little more info would be a great help for that.

If things stay the way they are right now with seals procing off instants the rotation will be;
CS – DS – Judgment – HoW priority order on single target
DS – CS – Judgment – HoW priority order on multi-target
HoW and judgment would need theory crafting done to figure out in the end what will do more, but for mana purposes I’d like to make sure Judgment gets prioritized first.
Those are my thoughts atm.

We’re working on updating the gear sections, mainly waiting on Slayton to have some breathing room IRL. Don’t worry about the gear sections, we’re definitely going to update them ASAP.
