<Vis Maior> is proud to present a special Naxx raid this Sunday which will be streamed for everyone to see. <Vis Maior> is running a Naxx raid so that we can help test and balance the zone even further.

The point of view will be of me (as of right now) a Retribution Paladin. I have not had a chance to raid yet on beta, and this will be my first Naxx as well. I will be experimenting with Paladin rotations and seals to see what is best. The spec I plan on running will be;

5.30 AM or PM. I’m a German. So 5.30AM would be 3.30PM in Germany. And 5.30PM would be Monday 3.30AM.
I think it’s a real cool idea. Hopefully there’re no streamproblems.

So is he doing command/martyr seal twisting or command/vengeance? Because that build looks like it will use vengeance with seals of the pure. I thought command/martyr was better. What might have changed that?

The zone is largely bug free and can be cleared in about 5 hours, likely faster this time around.

@ Aspharr - In beta seal twisting as it is on live is dead, since there’s no more delayed proc’ing of the seal (as far as I know).
If there’s any twisting going on it will probably be “seal vengeance, get a 5 stack, seal martyr, auto attack, go back to vengeance to prevent the stack from dying out, go back to martyr”

I dont understand what is the point in placing 5 points into Seals of the Pure if most of those seals are used for tanks and i keep up Judgement of crusader then only use Seal of Blood

also forgot to mention shouldnt you put 3 into Stoicism because of the chance your spells wont be dispelled

That said, why Seals of the Pure? I know it was discussed a bit in posts above me, but not very fully. Is it worthwhile to maintain the stacks of Vengeance/Corruption?

As far as I know, it wasn’t recorded. I remember asking slayton if it was recorded, and he said that he couldn’t get a cap of it this time. But that he’ll be working on getting that up next time something like this goes down. Was great… Slay was laying down some real sick numbers.

yea Megaphone i do realize this is a Pure PvE build i dont pvp im pure pve and yet if your alliance good for you but im a blood elf the point of the matter is i put up Judgement of Crusader so my guildies get 3% crit then also i use Seal of Blood for the bonus holy damage im not gunna spec 5 points into Seals of the Pure when there is no point its a waste of 5 points also Stoicism can be accountable for Pve because i no in TK there are mobs that dispell judgement of the Crusader which this will prevent it so maybe you should just not copy everything this guy says and think on your own

I still dont Understand why seal of command you do more dps with Seal of Blood -Horde or Seal of Martyr i believe for Alliance its proves on dps charts

That was an awesome thing to watch last night. Wish I could’ve stayed until the end, but RL called.
What was the final Death toll for Slayton? I left around 10 or so.
Either way, content didn’t look overpowering, but I’d imagine you need coordination in there more than anything.

Well Niex, you get seal of command for fights where you can hurt yourself, unless you feel like using SoR for prince type fights. SoComm will put out more damage in those situations with it being able to proc off CS/DS and being able to crit.
Furthermore I put 5 points into holy because, it is a pure raiding build, meaning I optimize for every job I can without losing dps/mobility. Increasing my tanking seals damage, SoV and SoR serves me far better in raids then 30% spell dispel resist or Eye for an Eye on attacks that won’t ever amount to damage worth anything because enemy spells cant crit and most AoE damage doesn’t come from a target itself.
Ya, I think my death count was like 10 or so lol, it was my first time in Naxx going that far and they didn’t tell me about certain mechanics, lol, sometimes on purpose.

So Slay, you didn’t use Seals of the Pure to maintain Vengeance/Corruption stacks? I have absolutely no experience with that seal, for obvious reasons. Also, how do rotations feel with Judgment now on the GCD?
