If so, then RetPaladin.com wants YOU to be recognized!
Whether you’re a 5-time Gladiator as Retribution or topping damage meters for a world top-100 raiding guild we’re interested in what you have to say. Here’s how it works:
- Monthly (starting out), RetPaladin.com will feature one incredible Retribution Paladin in our yet-to-be-created “Featured Retadin” section of the site
- An interview with you will be conducted by either myself or Megaphone where we will ask many questions of interest to the community regarding the particular area of the game in which you excel
- A screenshot of your in-game UI(s) will be presented for all to see and a link to your armory profile available for all to witness
Think you fit the description of an exceptional Retribution Paladin? Then let us know! PM your applications to either myself or Megaphone and tell us why you think you should be featured. The more detail you provide in your application the better! Please be sure to provide your server and the name of your character for reference. Applications that do not provide at least this information will not be considered!
The deadline for applications is Friday, August 21, 2009 @ 11:59PM.
Note that, at this time, we are accepting applications for excelling Retadins in either PvE or PvP (or both) but in the future we may set a rotation such that one month (subject to scheduling changes due to popularity, time constraints, etc) is PvP whereas the next is PvE.

Barrelroll interview was done by the one and only Slayton when Barrelroll became the highest dps ret pally int he world back in TBC, (damn BE and their seal twisting)

Indeed. But I would like to see one from him now, so he can comment on all the all the changes since SWP, and that he sports a Celestial Defender title, and has 2300+ ratings in all three brackets, as well as Furious Glad achiev.
Might be fun to track down the 2 or 3 other Ret Paladins in the game who have similar accolades.

Barrelroll quit, so I doubt you’ll be hearing anything from him to be honest. I might have applied had I not also quit. Something about 3.2 seals and clearing the same instance 4 times a week, not sure…

Can we submit others for this? Because wouldn’t it be better and more likely to get overall better paladins if other people submitted them(less prideful/arrogant, avoid the elitist)? I’m sure there are some paladins who are too self-conscious and non-bragging that would be worth having on here but would never consider adding themselves to the list. Obviously you’d have to ask them if it was okay before you did the interview, but I’m sure in most cases they would. Such as I don’t think Hofflerand would submit himself, unless he was able to think of it as helping other paladins out there. Others that don’t come here/post but would be good. Such as Barrelroll again.

I agree that it makes sense to have Paladins submit on behalf of others but we want to ensure that those being considered actually want to BE considered in the first place. If anyone would like to submit an application on behalf of another Paladin, feel free to do so but we will first contact that Paladin to ensure they would be okay with an interview should they be chosen.

I like this idea. The chance to interview other Paladins to share strategies and tips and tricks is the perfect method for some much-needed cohesion in the community. If possible, I think a more frequent occurrance – bi-monthly? – would be awesome! =)
