Hi all. Never wrote to a forum before, but I have checked through the first 5 pages here and don't find anything on this topic. Since at least half of a Retpaladin's offense is spells, why isn't intellect and spell power considered much more important. It seems that all emphasis is on strength, attack power, and hit rating. Do we ignore the spellcasting?
Also, I just got Saronite Swordbreakers for my Tankadin spec. However, even with defensive stats, Gear Score add-on says that they are better DPS bracers than the ones I have, Braceguards of the Starless Night, which have stamina, haste, crit, spell power, and intellect. I do have the big Attack Power enchant on them. I guess it is the same answer as the first question, but a specific answer to it would help. Thank you!!!!

As for our attacks the only ones that are spells are Exorcism and Consecration and Judgment is considered a melee attack. And they scale both off spell power and attack power(poorly from both though). Also strength increases the damage of our melee strikes, CS and DS.
